How To Style A Bar Cart
Anthony and I love to entertain so when we moved into our apartment getting a bar cart was a must. I looked around for a while before I found this one and then played around with how to organize it for a bit. To be honest I don’t think there’s a right or wrong way to style one but I know I got inspiration from seeing other bar carts so hopefully, this will give you some ideas.
On the bottom left I have all of our nice alcohol. The bar cart has bottle holders where I keep my red wine. Right above you can see the wine glass holders which is where I keep all of my nice glasses.
On the right-hand side, we have a few mule mugs, a beverage dispenser, and a fun book on beer and food pairings.
You have to add some greens to liven up the cart! On the top left, I have a real succulent that a friend made me and a faux succulent from Target. I love this growler from Yards because I feel like it gives our cart some Philly vibes. I’ve had the cork holder for years, Anthony bought it for me from Homegoods.
Lucky for us, our friend works for Diageo and has given us some nice whiskey and shot glasses over the years. I love the tinted blue glasses because it coordinates with our blue backsplash in the kitchen. Behind them, I have a crystal whiskey decanter and glass set. I got mine from Boscovs but it looks like it is sold out, so I found a similar set from Bed Bath and Beyond for $22! Whiskey decanter and glass set
Anthony has a side job as a bartender and he really enjoys making drinks for our friends. I bought him this Cocktail shaker set for his birthday and it came with a recipe guide on how to make different kinds of cocktails.
I love this bar cart! It is the perfect mix of everything I was looking for. It has enough open space to do what I want with it but also has the option to hang glasses and hold a couple of bottles.
Being in an apartment we can’t have the bar in the basement so having this bar cart has allowed us to have that fun boozy part of our home to entertain friends without it looking like a college house. I would highly recommend getting one if you don’t already and if you do comment below and tell me how you decorate yours!
